anyone got any Lug nut keys kicking around? I broke my 97 Mark viii LSC key lug and cannot find where to find or buy a replacment. Thanks in advance.

Metric socket+ hammer + new lock set. Problem solved. (Pound the socket over the lock and use impact to buzz it off easy as he'll)

x2, i've never had to do it to a lock but have to a reg stripped lugnut.

There are 20 different keys. When I broke mine I went to the Ford dealer and they used their master set to figure out which ones I had and then ordered me a new key. It was $11.

air hammer and a v chisel. just try to get it to spin the lug nut about 1/4 turn with the air hammer, once you break it loose you will be able to hand spin it off. and no need to replace tools.

Replace tools? Air chisels are a really good way to f up a wheel.

i had snowflakes when i did it... any scar would have been hidden by center cap... but good point

Any Sears has the socket you need. I bought the set. It grabs it when loosen it, lets go when you jog it the opposite way. AutoZone might have it as a rental.

I hammered a 4-way lug wrench on mine and took all 4 of them off. Piss on locking lug nuts.

of coarse you say that, you have bland stock directions, nobody steals those

i used a 22mm socket, a BFH, and a impact. and i agree with nolimit fukk locking lugs, if someone wants your wheels they will get them, locking lug or not

^ exactly chicken, i hate them stupid p.o.s things too, nothing but trouble. i have about 16 factory locking lug nut masters but i am not sending them all to you to see if one fits! i would do what i have done in the past and it was mentioned, beat an impact socket onto the thing and impact it off. then replace them with normal lug nuts. people dont steal wheels anymore, they take your whole car.

Even if I had your sh!t, I still would say "piss on locking lug nuts" because mine has a bedroom and nobody steals wheels where I live. Course btw

What are you locking? I can still get the lock off anyway, without a key. It's just another 20 second obstruction in the way and the wheels I done this on were on the 94 that had snowflakes.

Remember the days when you had bland stock wheels? Not saying what you have now are much better but I can promise you, they could be parked anywhere in my city and left for weeks, just to come back and still find them there.

Someone stole the rims and tires from 36 cars And trucks that had just come in to a local dealership about 2 months ago. Around here wheel theft is still common and a lot of times organized.

sounds more like druggies or drunks looking for scrap money, with that many stolen at once, around here they steal ac compressors outside houses and business's, or up in hernando beach they had over 1500 feet of aluminum fence sawzall'd at the ground for scrap one night, stealing wheels around where i live is almost prehistoric, because we have rediculous places like rent n roll, where you can pay weekly on your rims and tires so now the welfare recipients and crack heads can now get wheels too, so they dont want stockers!

the only time i have ever seen a set of wheels stolen was in the town of west tx, just outside of waco. I was working a super sale, and on wed when we showed up they had a corvette balanced on one cinder block, another 2 vettes on 2 and like 3 or 4 trucks and tahoes sitting rotors on the ground. the week before that we were in victoria tx, someone broke into the dealership and stole computers and all the credit apps, with soc, dob and credit info.

point is dosent matter what you do. people will take what they want, when they are stupid and fearless. if i caught someone stealing my snowflakes I would beat the :q:q:q:q out of them for principal, and then help them load them up, because i hate them...
