Long term wishful thinking...

In the future, i want a 4v 4.6 that can rev up to 8000-8500rpm, and like it...and wants to make 400-500 horse btwn 6000-top! and i want it to be able to drop into the mark without much modding...besides the hood of course.

anyone think it could be done?

any tips or ideas i can write down in my book of goals?

Get stiffer valve springs, camshafts that would make power uptop, and upgrade the bottom end to include 12ish:1 compression and stoke it, it could make it to 400+.

To get to 500, your gonna need to charge it some how.....

not really with the right cams, valaves, pistens and stoke you can crank well over 500 with these engines. take the cammer for example it is a 4.6 bore over to 5.0 with biger cams and stuff and it cranks 550hp n/a so it can be done it all judt takes money
these engines will crank over 2 grand if you have the money to put into the...he he If we Only had the money...LOL

03/04 Cobra engine...and you won't have to rev it to the sky to get it. Put a Whipple on it and easily get 600 rwhp. Then grow a set of big brass ones...you are in for a ride.
