Hey all I'm an LS fanatic and have used this great resource the past three years as a spider. :shifty: But now I finally have joined to post my own questions since I have come across something that it seems no one has yet posted about. Glad to be a member now though!

So obviously the interceptor is my car but I'm already in another forum for that.:dancefool My wife is the main driver of the LS but it's okay.

It's an '03 LS 3.9v8 Sport Package with 139xxx for miles.
Been changing the oil and filters (duh)
professional fuel injector cleaning
Gone through two sets of the autolite double platinum plugs before I realized that they fouled from lousy coils, not oil leaking in the valve covers.
A set of coils from 1A Auto that came with one faulty that I replaced from Oreillys rather than wait another two weeks.
New cat and 02 sensors on the right bank (expensive CA ones :Bang)
New transmission cooler when a quick lube broke the metal nipple the hoses attach to. My wife had taken it there while I was out of town for the week. They bought the parts and I did the labor when I returned. (Car hasn't seen a quick lube since.)
New radiator and hose when a pin hole leak began from rocks thrown up off the highway during a trip to North Idaho.
Completely new coolant hoses done by Hertz in Bend Oregon when they decided to fail after the pressure of the new radiator and upper hose was too much for the old hoses beneath the intake. :Bang That was a fun vacation as the loaner car they gave us was a Focus ST (WOW cruising up and down the 101) :N
New rear doorlock actuator
Repaired rear window defrost with saudering iron
New passenger side window regulator
New rear wheel bearing (surprisingly painless)
Rear diff fluid change, fuel filter change, cabin air filter change (wife complained the air stunk and a new filter seemed to fix that, the filter looked like a shop vac filter after cleaning off the back patio in spring), and power steering fluid change.

So yeah my wife went through a period of loathing the car two summers back when the radiator and transmission cooler both needed replaced within weeks but since then we've loved it. I call it a labor of love as i rarely let mechanics touch this car. (especially after finding the threads on this forum about the coils)

Thanks everyone. :V
