Ive been meaning to post this for sometime......I went down to the dealership and i had a list of problems....1st was when I push my brake pedal all the way to the floor i get this high pitch squealing noise if i dont take my foot off the brake(sounds like pinching a ballon to let the air out and it makes that loud noise)it does it everytime since the day i bought it i took it in and had to drop it off the night before so i could bumm a right to work...2nd problem was my headlights ....everytime i wash the car they get moisture in both of them the passenger side is the worst......they said that they cant duplicate either problem and then they had my car all day long and didnt call me to tell me it ready (they didnt call me to tell me that they got my car and checked out the problems) they keep my car did the 30,000 mile service that was nice i didnt know that they did it for free so that was cool....but they had greasy hand prints all over the fenders.... they had my car one day to look at the door handle and didnt even touch it and they washed it....had it all day got it dirty and didnt wash it....WTF now ive got 32,500 and i need to get this fixed ...I will not be going back there but the other dealership is kinda far just hopes it worth it.....so now the problem is when my right blinker is on i cant engauge or disengauge highbeams...and i almost wrecked my car this weekend because i had my cruz control on and i started getting close to another car i hit the "-" button and the car jumped gears and floored it!!!!!!!!WTF!!!!! So I hit the cancel button nothing !!!!! hit the brake and it stopped but the next thing i know im speeding up again!!!! i was scared out of my life.... i pulled over and shut the car off and when i got goign again it was fine but on the way home and yesterday it did it again :eek2: whats up with this .......sorry its so long i have a 2002 v6 ls anyone have any of these there are all coverd under warranty right???

If your car is under the basic bumper to bumper 3 yr/36,000 mile warranty then all the problems you talked about should be covered. Also, if you have an good Ford extended warranty you should be covered too depending on the deductible.

What I can't understand is that Ford lets this happen to customers. I know that Ford doesn't "control" the dealers but they sure can put the squeeze on them. I'm fortunate enough to have a dealer that will work with me. I really hate that your dealer is doing this to you. It is frustrating. The best thing to do is complain to the dealership General Manager. Then if that doesn't work just find another dealer all together.

This particular problem seems to be norm rather than the exception for most Ford owners. That's why I have a hard time accepting that Ford doesn't do anything about it. Customer Service comes well after the sale is completed.

I agree its hard to say what goes on sometimes in most dealerships. I know my FLM dealer is the best in the area. Dave Knapp FLM!

SilverLS try what Ken has to say with reguards to contact the dealers GM. I would say that or go to the head-chesses office and demaned prompt service. Sorry to here this about you FLM dealer. I personally have recieved surveys for nearly almost every car I have bought of there lot. Those surveys believe it or not to get back to the dealer and they do have a impact on them, whether its good or bad. So stand up, be calm, and demand answers Silver LS. Good luck dont loss the faith! May the force be with you!

I bought my LS at Longwood LM, but I take it in for service at Central Florida LM, if you're taking I-4, its probably only another 10 minutes. I have gotten great service there, if the service advisor isn't giving you the service you need, go to the service manager, then the GM. The extra commute will be worth it.
Good luck.

I totally agree. I have had an ongoing list of problems with my 2003 Navigator. So far I have had it to 4 L/M dealerships and 2 Ford dealerships and I get told something different at each one. Literally I have been told that "I have to take it to a body shop because there is nothing we can do." For my doors, they would shudder when I went over bumps. I was also told a loud whine from my front end "is perfectly normal for these cars" also "there should be a little vibration in the steering wheels at highway speeds." My car has been doning this since 17000 miles, it now has 35000, I am well under the 50000 mile warranty. This is just the tip of the iceburg. I finally called Ford and told them that we were going to have a problem if I am having unrepairable problems with my car that I bought from a authorized dealer. I also told them I had been documenting everything that has went on, and asked "if Ford can't fix there products who can?!" They asked me if I had spoke to the service manager, I had on several occasions. They referred me to one of the most reputable ford dealerships in my area and they have had my car for just under a month now. I don't care how long they have as long as these problems are fixed, instead of "we could not duplicate, or we road tested it and it is normal. Another shining example is about a week after we bought I was driving it when I notice a bad rattle it the tailgate almost like something hanging in there and just banging around. After 3 trips to the dealer and being told "they couldn't hear anything, or that just normal for this truck" they pulled the trim panal and lo and behold my liftgate motor had fell out of it's casing and was haning there baning around just like I had told them! My question is WHY. If you drop 60000 on a 'fricken vehicle you should be treated like you did. I am told Lexus treats their people like royalty. Ford should definately get a clue.

We've had similair problems with our Navi also. Four times to try and fix an exhaust vibration. Talked to Ford directly and they sent out lemon law papers. I really don' want to do that, instead I just want it fixed.

At least when the exhaust vibrates it covers up all the other squeeks and rattles. Otherwise we love it.

Josh Sledge was my service advisor last time I went, he's pretty good about returning phone calls and giving details on why service needs to be done. He doesn't just say "we need to replace your engine" he gives details on the parts that need to be changed and was very helpful when I asked him a million questions and confronted him about warranty issues.
His contact info is 407-481-4318. The shop's is 407-841-4550.

I don't work there and he has never done anything for free for me, except they do like to wash your car whenever you bring it - whether or not you get any work done.
