Hello everyone I'm an enthusiastic Jaguar S-type owner in the LA area (Silver Lake). I'm interested in designing aftermarket parts for the S-type. Things like high flow fuel rails, carbon fiber intake systems, body kits, coilovers, strut bars front and rear, exhaust, engine/transmission management reprogramming, and projector head lights.

What I need is the ability to have the parts cross over. This would increase the chances of my getting help in funding the manufacturing of the parts. I'm looking for someone that is passionate about there LS the help me compare parts to my car.

I have a 2003 Jaguar S-type with a customized 4.2L non supper charged motor. It is lowered on Mina Gallery springs with Mina Gallery exhaust. I have custom built roof and trunk spoilers. The headlights are upgraded to HID's but will soon get custom one off projector lenses. I'm currently running 20x8.5" (35et) front and an aggressive 20x10.5" (42et) rear. I'm about to install the Brembo brakes off of the S-type R. From what I understand I will be the first to do it.

Please have a comparable Lincoln LS. You can email me pics of your car with your info to Collintpadilla@gmail.com or hit me up here. I just don't check this all the time. This is an independent project.

I might be able to help you out :D

I'm sure Alax can help out a lot since his car has gone through the 'Transformer' stage. I stay in the I.E. area but work near East LA. The only custom work I have done is a cold air intake used from turbo piping off a FORD diesel truck. Its even powder coated.

Careful folks, 11 posts, asking for access to an LS for suspension mods which would likely result in your car being out of your possession for a few days, might wind up not seeing your LS again until you see it drifing sideways through a crowd in Saudi Arabia 3 months from now. Not making any accusations, just that it's a suspect situation and anyone wanting to go for this should be careful.

Jeeze....and I asked for someone from LA awhile back to see if they would pick up a set of wheels from CL...I guess I just needed to make a new topic...haha

Here are some pics of the CAI I made and had it powder coat it flat black. It has a small texture to it but nothing rough. Its constructed of turbo piping from a FORD diesel truck. I had to do some minor modifications to make it slide all the way down right behind the front bumper. It has made a big difference to my MPG's causing it to waste more gas but at least it feels good when you slam the gas pedal and the car feels a lot stronger. I bought a filter at Autozone for $25 which is similar to a K&N.

How effective is that intake? Half of the original intake is still there, with its silencing caves and caverns.

he's pulling a little cooler air... but its still pretty restrictive, and without a proper tune, i doubt his MPG have improved because of it...

I will be cleaning my engine bay soon.
My MPG'S drastically dropped believe it or not. On the freeway its getting an average of 18-19 when before it was getting about 24. That's no lie. You can feel it pick up better but its not a turbo or blower to brag about.

The piping was free. I just made a few cuts and welded the pipes together using flux core since I didn't have the mig setup. They charged me $65 for the powder coating and I paid $25 for the air filter.
