been looking all over, on ebay, everywhere, cant find a decent kit for my 96 town car. anyone know where i could get one?

(brain fart) :( I just figured out you are talking suspension bags.... the guys that manufacture those replacement Mark VIII suspension components that sell on ebay have a full line of air suspension components - I'd start with them as they are pretty high volume and low price.

Good luck replacing those front Air Springs, I hear their really hard to deflate.

Uh towncars neaver had front air springs, only rear, unless they are custom ones added aftermarket. Continentals had front and rear up till I believe 95 or 96. They then switched from the air struts at all 4 corners to 2 air bags in back with shocks and either shocks or struts can't remenber just now up front. All 4 shocks/struts are electronically controlled though by the plush/normal/firm setting in the car. The conti also has 4 height sensors and can level side to side. The towncar has 1 height/weight sensor in the center above the axle. I just orderd a set of 2 air bags from arnottindustries.com $92 a piece on sale from $99.99. Though I would also get the dryer for the system as well. As by now, espically if there was a leak the drying material in it will pretty much be shot and moisture could develop in the lines and ruin the compressor and eventially bags. All their componets for the tc are lifetime warranty from them. There is also strutmasters who sells the suspension componets. Fyi you can view instructions and download them from arnott of how to install/uninstall the air-springs.

If you are looking for a custom kit for the tc I've neaver heard of one you are probably going to get a custom setup. I've neaver heard of or seen a ready to install (oem type) kit that does all 4 wheels. I've seen a couple of tc's with air or hydraulics but the setups weren't kits but rather setups for those cars and not pre designed kits.

Below are a couple of sites that I found that have custom setups.

Mark VII's and Mark VIII's had front air springs, but Town Cars didn't. If someone is trying to sell you front air springs then he/she is trying to con you..

Ohh, by the way they're "air springs"... To the Town Car fanatics, calling them "air bags" is a sure indication that you have no idea what in hell you're talking about.
