Looking for Seats

I need a black leather drivers seat for my 1993 Mark VIII.

The actual seat broke. Not the track, but the plastic internal frame that holds the cushioned seat part. I'm very annoyed.

I don't need to use '93 seats, I'll entertain buying any year, or any pair of seats.

I'm also considering installing any other make black leather seats that will fit. The T-Bird SC seats are the first to come to mind.

I've heard the Taurus seats work, but I have no idea how that could be. The floor tracks are totally different? Do the Taurus seats bolt to the Mark VIII tracks?

I've tried Jamie, several times. I'm pretty lucky, I've been able to pick up parts from him in person. Unfortunately, he doesn't have any seats, in any color. I've been checking with him, periodically for a while.

The SC seats aren't quite as nice, but they do have more support- and they are cooler, with the side bolters and all. They're hard to find in black leather.
 
It's tough to find these locally, and the pairs I find have sellers reluctant to ship...

Still looking either Mark VIII seats or T-bird SC seats in black leather.

I'll check them out- I haven't seen them come up on Car-parts.com, but I'll call them tomorrow. If I could find them that close to home, I'd be thrilled. I'm not familiar with them, do you know their number or have a link, I can't find anything through Google.
 
LKQ-

I found the one in Clearwater- they have two Mark VIIIs.
They have a couple Mark VIIs -one with a custom black and white leather interior.

And they had a SuperCoupe with black leather seats still in it. Unfortunately, someone removed the controls and some trim from the drivers seat.

I wasn't able to find an LKQ in Tampa though. I figured it was the old Cophers, but I had no luck finding them.

Those u-pull-it lots are handy, but they nickle and dime you. Seats. Oh, you have tracks too. That's more. They have motors. That's more. The female end of the seatbelt is attached. That's $10/ more.

$20 seats turn into $50. Still a value, but then you get home and find they don't work.
