Hey guys, I'm looking for some help on buying some wheels. I've watch loads of videos and read lots of threads on offset and bolt pattern, all that good stuff. I'm young so I don't know a hole ton about the fitments I understand more and have at least a basic understanding. I've never bought wheels myself but I'm looking to buy a set off ebay.. they're nothing great but I just want something that handles in these Michigan winters. I'm looking at some R25's with the measurements,
Size: 17x7
Bolt Pattern: 5x100/114.3
Offset: +40mm
Finish: Black/Polished Red
Center Bore: 73.1mm
Material: Aluminum
Looking at all the threads here I didn't really see any 7 wide so I'm not sure if they even work but I hope they do. The bolt pattern is my main concern. It says 5x100/114.3 the stock is I believe 108mm. Does this fit? Not sure if that's a dumb question or not because I currently have Lug Pattern 1 5x110 Lug Pattern 2 5x115 and they fit.
Other than that I know the bore is 63.4mm and I can buy some rings which I've already found. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4pc-Aluminu...ash=item4d3d0503a2:g:-zcAAOSwUdlWdLgO&vxp=mtr

Then the offset which I feel like I understand but maybe I don't. They have a +40mm offset and the stocks have +60mm I believe. So that means these will stick out farther? But if I buy a spacer of +20mm or +10mm that makes it more flush? Confusing I may have that opposite.

Anyway sorry for the long post just want to get the wheels coming since I have enough saved now to afford them and snow hasn't come yet. Thanks for anyone's help I'll be looking to buy tomorrow! :)

Bolt pattern has to be 5 X 4.25" (108mm)

Rings will push the wheels out further, and they would need to be hubcentric otherwise they won't work.

Just stick with a used 16" or 17" factory wheel, painted, not chrome, and slap a good snow tire on. General Altimax, Continental or Bridgestone Blizzak. I have 225 55 17's on right now (for winter, minus 1 size vs stock) but a 225 50 17 would be fine too.

I had a set of factory ones but they were chrome and all corroded so we scrapped them. Does the 40 mm offset work I thought some guys had 38 mm and it looked good? I found the same design of rim in black & chrome with a 108 mm bolt pattern. I think I may go with the if the offset isn't going to be a problem.

Your most cost effective way will be a set of factory 16" wheels. Here is a cheap set...
