Decided to check my compression after almost losing to a stock stang since it didnt seem right and the car doesnt seem to have the same power as last year. I should read between 180-195 on each cylinder on a healthy engine. Last year before Ford day at the local track I read an average 145psi across all cylinders which isnt great. Today I averaged 120 on the driver side, have to still do the passenger side cylinders...lost motivation after spending 10 minutes playing hide and seek with a spark plug.

Funny thing is that I filled my nitrous bottle two weeks ago and was going to play with it last week but the line cracked right as it enters the engine bay. Good thing though since I need to get my DOHC still and need to get to work until then on this engine. Spraying with that compression at this point would be like kicking a retarded kid in the balls.

So if anyone knows of a 93-96 Mark VIII DOHC for cheap let me know.

Parting out 93

I have a 93 Mark VIII that I am going to part out. Hit light in front. Has 75,000 miles on it runs good. There is a picture of it in my garage area.
All parts are up for grabs to LVC members before I put them on E-Bay.

How much would you want for it, I dont have a lot of cash since I wasn't planning on my engine taking a dive like this. I found one local for $700 but the guy wont give up the accesories or the manifolds and I dont have $547 for headers alone. Pm me how low you could shoot it for and I will arrange shipping...not expecting you to let it go for like $200 or anything like that...but I would let you. :D Also if you want a T-45 I got one I could trade for, wink, wink.

I contacted him (more like bugging him) and he is waiting on a guy to come through on purchasing the whole car. Was supposed to be last weekend but it didnt happen.
