im getting a loud humming noise from my front passenger tire, no idea what it is, all i know is my tire is going bald for some reason, i want to take it in but i dont want the dealership to try and jerk me around

A good tire shop would be who you want to take it to. They can look at the tire and determine the issue. It may just be a broken belt inside the tire causing the noise.

Or a hub bearing...
but what about the tire going bald on one side.... im pretty close to going through my second tire on that side since feb

How does the car handle? I just had to replace one tire on my Benz because my alignment had worn out the inside of the tire. Start to see the belt of the tire coming through. It had a strange sound driving as well, but more importantly i noticed the handling was terrible and steering wheel vibrating while driving 40+ mph.
yeah my tire is worn on the outside, the strange sound your talking about might be the humming im referring to

Get a new tire and check the alignment.
