Outside, on my back in the snow and ice, and today it rained. I used the tech articles on this site and on markviii.org. I found the lowering article to be decent, but the removing the silencer article, towards the last few steps, was pretty lacking - it was extremely difficult to get the silencer out without cutting bolts, so that was frustrating.

I think the rear end is too low - I could get it down about 1 inch lower than the front. It handles better, but ride comfort has suffered - I guess that is to be expected. On the plus side, removing the silencer has someone given me an extra 3 mpg, according to the computer.

Really? I'll definately have to gut that damn thing this weekend. I just gained 2 mpg by cleaning the MAF (16.1- 18.3 MPG). I can't figure out why this things gets :q:q:q:q mileage like that. My Conti got 23 MPG with constant WOT!...

well i gained 3 mpg on the highway, from the day before. and I also gained in the city, not sure how much yet.
