LS 01 V8 need advise on wiring

I have a 2001 LS V8 and I am trying to wire in my new gauges. I had been running it to the passengers side with a wire going across the car just to make sure it worked good before I committed to any wiring changes. But what I need to know is what wire on the drives side could I splice into that will turn on and off with the key. Any help would be great! I had tried to run a wire into the trunk to that fuse box but it appears all them fuses stay hot so I can't use the rear fuse panel and getting from the passengers side to the drivers side is a pain to do. I planned to now splice into a wire and use a inline fuse. I just gotta figure out which one.

In general, green wires with a stripe are switched power. Some will switch with the key, and others will stay powered until the car sleeps (20 minutes or so after last activity).

Even if it had a 20 min delay that would be fine I am sure with it being a led panel it does not consume that much power and would not really drain the battery down. I was even thinking about the power wire on the radio since the radio comes on with the key. I don't think it would be as hard to get the power wire to the radio harness.
