I'm new to posting here but I have read a lot of posts on this forum. I just got done doing a tune up and valve cover gasket job on my 2000 5spd.

i posted about the job on another automotive forum I am a member of:

LS tune up
anyone who wants can join this forum too.

thanks,

also I am looking for a hinge for the center arm rest/console door.

I was curious if anyone had one.

the dealer wants to sell be the whole arm rest/console door for $80.

I'll post in the parts forum too.

I checked out the other site...just quick question...do you drift your LS????

haha no not really. My signature on that site is more of a bash on drifters. I'm basically saying my car sticks so well it can't be drifted.

I played around with it in a slick parking lot and got some cool results but in the dry I can't seem to break the tires loose easily. Even at peak rpms in first gear the car just grips to well, plus it doesn't have enough torque for its weight. I'm sure it could be done but i'm not sure if its for me... or at least for my LS

it would be cool though huh?

Thank goodness you had me scared for a min....I have the same thoughts not enough torque for the weight....

pain in the ***

I did a tune up on my 2000 ls and it had the same oil on plugs common problem .My dad came by looked in the garage and asked me how i'm gonna get this thing back together .she ran good after though

If you really want to drift it try it in wintertime when it's cold out, even better, try it with a set of snows on, it'll slide all over the place quite easily.
