Hey all, just discovered this site last week and I have to say I'm impressed with the activity....looks lively!

I have had the LS8 for about 14 months now and it's been a great car. I bought it after the original lessee (older fellow) turned it in at end of lease in late '07 and got a new one. It had 75,000 km on it then. Bought a set of 16" wheels from Tire Rack immediately as it was in the middle of winter and the OEM Michelins were pretty bad (mostly dried/cracked). Did a tranny and coolant flush earlier this year and plan to try changing the plugs next month.

Anyway, here's a few pics of my LS (not so good...once I have the summer wheels back on I'll post some more) and other rides:

:W to :V I see you like the Fords. I'm liking the LS and Mustang. Those Volvos are pretty decent as well, and I'm DEFINITELY feeling that Taurus wagon :D. There's actually quite a few Lincoln owners on here that have Mustangs as well, myself included. Any mods planned for the LS?

The S60R is pretty cool, 300hp AWD with 4C chassis/suspension...fun to drive but I'm itching for top down days soon. The Taurus wagon went to my father-in-law last year. It had 300K kms and ran great (had it repainted a couple years ago) so could bear to sell it, so I gave it to him....still runs great.

I would love to tighten up the suspension in the LS a little but not sure if my wife would appreciate that as she loves the car as is. Are adjustable struts/shocks available for it?

I will look at small engine mods (maybe intake, etc) and exhaust...I'm sure with the right exhaust this 3.9 will sound sweet! I think finding this site may be bad for my wallet :D

Which stang do you have? Mods (ok I know...stupid question)?

If you want to tighten up the suspension but don't want to go too low I would go with Eibach lowering springs, as they don't quite lower it as much as the Sprints or Intrax. If you want to firm it up you could go with the euro shocks, but they are not for everyone from what I've been told. I have a white 92 5 speed GT hatch with a rebuilt title that I bought earlier this year while I work on the LS. It's straight piped with bbk headers, intake, 75mm throttle body, and msd ignition. I'm most likely going to sell it and buy a shell for either a 460 or 351 swap. I also have an unrestored but all original 351 C 69 Mach 1 that my dad finally gave me this last year (he's had it since 91 and hasn't touched it in about 15 years,) that will be getting a full restoration and build as soon as money permits. My LS is an 01 V8 Sport and I've done cai, exhaust, ignition coils, lowering springs, drilled/slotted rotors, stainless steel brake lines. I also have an SCT Livewire awaiting tunes and a full CDC LSE body kit awaiting install as soon as I paint the car. I've also been looking to buy an extra engine to build as a side project.

Nice....sounds like a cool stable. I forgot about brakes...that's something I'd like to upgrade as well.

Yeah it works for now. Upgrading the rotors/pads/lines/brake fluid was one of the best mods I've done to date. What do you have done to your Stang?

Mostly bolt-ons up to now:
Cobra intake
76mm C&L MAF, 65mm TB, FMS, 9mm wires
BBK shorty headers, 2.5" h-pipe with hi flow cats and piping to back with flowmasters
Suspension (all relatively new - not stock; all FRPP and MM control arms and CC plates, Eibach Pro-Kit, Tokico HP struts/shocks)
Chassis (all MM braces: XL SFCs, STB, 4-pt K-member brace)
Aluminium driveshaft
3:73 gears
B&M Hammer Shifter

Parts in the garage:
AFR 165cc heads
Edelbrock Peformer 5.0 intake
Vortech V2-SQ supercharger
MSD stuff
255lph fuel pump
Baer 4-wheel disc brake kit

Still need bigger injectors (42lb), MAF/TB; making room in my garage to pick up a block to build up for all these parts.

hey man! Nice line up. I wish I still had my 89 GT! I had my GT40 motor swapped in, lowered comp pistons, roller everything, MSD digital, pro 50 shifter on the new tremec... she was all ready for the vortec. then my now ex wife put a pole through her the same day my blower cam in. Any way. Now I have the LS with cai, exhaust, tuned, lowered, locker, pnp tb and intake mani, coils, plugs, nitrous, etc.
