LS of the Month...new Idea..

I mentioned this before but kinda got shot down.

I was a Mod on a different site and we ran a monthly photo contest also. The only difference is that we judged on the photo instead of the car....kinda

the reason I say this is because not everbody can drop the kind of time and money that some guys do on our LS's.

Almost all of the real nice LS's have already entered and won LSOTM so maybe we can change?

For example...
one month might be, take a picture by a body of water...whether it be a lake, pond, ocean, water sprinkler...whatever.

next month might be a moving shot, night shot, seasonal, holiday, dirty, clean...so on and so forth.

I guess the biggest reason is, then the guy..(like myself) could enter with little or no mods and not feel like he is gonna get stomped by eveyone else.

rules would be...an LS has to be in the pic...pic has to meet the criteria of that month.....blah blah blah

me either..Im a daddy of two who is putting his signifigant other thru school...my mods are cheap ones to say the least....thats why is more geared towards the actual photo, not so much a modified car.

Dude, I wanted to repaint my LS when I got it. Not gonna happen for a LONG time for me. I got better things to spend 5K on.

But when I get mine repainted, it'll probably be even more than that. I am super picky, and want extra coats of clear so I can really wetsand and get a mirror finish. Orange peel pisses me the f*ck off.

congrats! I get me a lil girl in Feb so...go me.

I have/had big ideas of staggered wheels, body kits, some spray....better system....all kinds of things!

things that obviously are on hold now...not that I'm complaining...just would have liked it to be about 3 years down the road. Oh well..at 31 years old, i'm glad to be done...hopefully...I don't wanna be the 60 somthing guy with teenagers..lol

i like this idea, i think the LS is a perfect car for this! pektel i too want to repaint my car, def. this spring! and i agree with the extra clear to be able to wet sand and not have to worrry about burning into the color, what color you think your going with, im gonna do the LSE silver

Brian, your car looks fine man. Don't think you have to dump whole bunch of money into your car to get a vote. Just because someone has body kit, wheels, spoiler etc. on their LS doesn't mean its on top of the chart.

Few simple touches to your LS and you will be good to go. Just keep is tastefull, thats all.
