It’s funny how most people don’t really know how fast the LS is or how great it handles. Adding bigger rims and performance springs really turned my LS into a road hugging performance car. On my way home yesterday, I smoked one of the new A6s though the mountains. When we got to the other side of the mountain I slowed down so the A6 could catch up. The drive was looking at me as if I stole his first gumball.
The LS is underrated in comparison to many German sports sedans. The LS does lack in the HP department. However, that is made up in the handling department. If Ford gave this car 400HP it would be untouchable.

hw 17? that road really tests a car. its sort of like a rollercoaster through the mountains

my thunderbird sc(5 sp and lots of torque) would pull through those mountains beautifully. the ls does it smoother than the SC did, but with out the torque of the sc, and controll on the 5 sp.

if had a ton of dough, i would give my ls a supercharger, and a 6 speed
