ls squeaks and rattles

anyone know of any common squeaks and rattles in the LS, my 03 is making noise from the front driver and passanger doors it seems, but it cant figure out exactly where its coming from. its been coming and going for the last month or so, and i cant figure it out.
Any suggestions guys??

Mine had something inside the door that would rattle. Sounded like something touching the speaker. Take off the door panel.

I just had my car serviced my Mullinax Ford in Apopka. They have been good to both me and my father. Check em out

My car had a rattle in the driver's door that was heard when the door was pulled closed. The dealer took the door panel off and found a bolt missing that was supposed to anchor the window regulator to the frame. Turns out it was the speed clip that was supposed to receive the bolt was rattling and buzzing. Replacing the bolt secured the whole assembly and fixed the problem.

If there is noise from inside the doors, I'd have the dealer check it out. My advice would also be to make sure the service advisor actually hears the noise -- take him for a joy ride if necessary. You want to avoid a situation where they can say "cannot duplicate problem".

My 01 has a few door rattles also. I've had the door panels off both sides now and I'm slowly getting them to quiet down. I really think most of mine are from the door panel themselves, rather than the mechanisms inside the door. It drives me up a wall too, but my wife thinks I'm nuts.

thats for the advise guys. i was thinking it might be something with the speakers, but who knows. any ideas for getting the door panels off? i've done it before on a previous car for a different problem, but i broke one of the clips, and i'm not looking to make this problem any worse. i dont plan on going to the dealer, as warranties arent supposed to cover squeaks and rattles, but that may be a last resort. for now, i'd like to carefully take off the door panels and see what i can see.
