Does the front end have shocks and struts? How dificult to install. Any special tools needed?

The LS has shocks with the springs on the outside of them. The install is pretty straightforward.

You will need spring compressors. You can rent them from places like Autozone. You make a payment and when you bring them back you get your money back.

I used hand tools when replacing mine. Not the quickest way, but still effective.
