LSE V6 Manual trans...on ebay??

I seem to recall someone posting an ebay link way back about a V6 LSE and everyone was skeptical and took shots at the creditibility of the lister. seems it may be for true.

I have been saying this for a long time. Lincoln did produce an LSE V6 in a manual transmission. It is a very rare car. The numbers are that only less than 1% of the LS's on the road have the manual transmission and it's only a fraction of that number that are LSE's.

so does that mean that my LSe is more rare then almost everyone elses LS (LSe V6 auto)? or is that just for manual?

Hell yeah! On Both. Lincoln did not rollout a lot of MT's and I owned a V6 and loved it and peted it and called Black Pearl, ok well before you laugh you would have t had sen my lic plate and vanity plate, and I never ever ever heard of a V6 LSE. Further, not many manuals were made. Trust me I hunted and hunted for one.

Call ford to see if they can give you some production numbers. The only thing that could make any rarer is the color. I would be willing to bet that they were very limited to a two colors. If you caught say a silver frost you could possibly have a car that seen fewer than a 1000 in prodcution.

Keep us posted... this is a rather curious situation.

I was just wondering because if I were to put the cash into the LSE body kit, I think I have all the available options for 00'. Would this raise my sale value when I decide to sell the car even though it's not a true LSE from the factory?

LOL if they dont know they will mark it up....

I sold my 2002 Chevy s-10 4.3l as a 2002 chevy s10 SS....I bought SS-S10 plates and put a cowl hood and the old s-10 steelies....when I traded it in they gave my 11,700 and I only owed 9,500 and they are re-selling it as a ss-s10......

Some people are clueless

Ford ( and Lincoln does wierd things)

My Dad ordered a 95 Tbird v8 with a factory manual trans. Used to get crap all the time, even from the dealer stating we modified the car and the warranty was void.

Considering the fact that the LSE didn't exist until 2002, it probably won't make a difference on your car. But you never can tell; people who buy cars do strange things.

Looking at Edmunds, the only part of the '02 LSE package that makes a difference is the rear spoiler...
