i'm tired of not having my angel eyes on due to one ring blowing out. so i want to open them up and replace all the rings and inverters. problem is that i have the LSK black eyebrows on there and i'm not sure how they will hold up. anyone with direct experience doing this please let me know if it's safe or not. thank you

I've heated mine multiple times with the eyebrows on. However, mine are painted. Don't know how unfinished ones would react.

yeah the LSK ones are more like vinyl and i'm not sure how they would hold up. i'm assuming no one has tried to heat them up after installing the eyebrows. i might just have to bite the bullet and try it myself.

Right. I have the LSK vinyl ones. But I have mine painted to match. I'm saying that I dont' know how the stock black vinyl finish would react. a painted finish can well withstand the 200 degrees for 10 minutes.

So all I am saying, is if you have LSK vinyl eyelids, and they are painted, then you should be good.

Did you paint them and not clear? Or not even paint at all? It looks like your car is silver and they come black ABS plastic?

And I lol'd at your description of them flying off

Sorry, I just deleted the whole thing.

Yeah I thought I had hit a bird when they flew off.

I have permanent ones now, originally paint matched the vinyl ones, they were nice till they took flight :D :D

i had the CF ones from LSK before and they also flew off on the way to AZ lol. Pete, mine are not painted. i left them the way they are shipped out from Ken. they kind of have a green tint to them now

Yeah, you're suppose to paint them to protect them from the sun and prevent the green
