Just so you all are aware... The LVC eBay Parts Feed is something we are testing out.

It pulls ads for MK8's and LS' from ebay and posts them here.

Its a feature I am working on. Its not a spammer or anything.

Cool. :)

*stops hitting the '!' button in anger* :D

I don't really like it....It's a good idea, but maybe it should have it's own subforum (or whatever it's called) under the for sale header.

I was just about to write the same thing. Maybe have a sub forum by car, one for marks, ls's ect... for the ebay adds from parts feeder and leave a for sale by members for members selling only to keep it from getting too cluttered. Really good idea.

Good idea, but :I

Arg. Can't even ignore the user. Well you can but the threads still show up. Hope this is making the site a decent chunk of change. I'm going to assume it is so I don't have to pony up for gold status :p

So now decent parts threads will get bumped for some garbage from Ebay? I don't like that idea at all.

I was going to create a thread to say this but then I saw this
I agree %100 it need its own area

I think we should pm him about switching it on it's own sub-forum, any takers? I come on here a few times a day so I dont miss any great deals on things members are selling but it's too much clutter with the ebay adds on the same page.

Yeah, I'm actually really starting to hate it. Again, it's a good/cool idea, but it needs it's own sub-forum....

Well if no one will do it. I'll pm him

No, I make very little on those. Its not about the money, its about prividing another service.

And you'll never have to pony up for Gold. You should only go Gold if you want to.

As I ahve said before -- I am testing this. It may get its own subforum at some point. I dont know yet. Im still tweaking it and looking at the traffic.

One thing I am thinking about is making subforums for Lincoln LS Parts, Lincoln Mark VIII Parts, Other Lincoln Parts, Cadillac Parts.

What do you think?

I think it would be great.
Toss it all in one sub-forum.

Maybe a sticky at the top of known e-bay bums like Dennis.

I dont think thats necessary. With the introduction of LVC parts feed you would either need to give LVC parts feed its own subforum or break down all the "for sale parts" to models and have different things posted in each subforum from the LVC ebay parts feed as well. As it is, there arent that many for sale threads that you need all those different subforums unless you dont give ebay its own spot. Either way it will suck, but if the parts feed has its own subforum i think it would suck less.

The LVC eBay Parts Feed definitely needs its own sub-forum.....
