LVC's SEARCH SUCKS!

sucks sucks sucks!!!!!!!! It never works!!!! It pulls up everything in LVC - it is the crappiest search engine I have ever used!!! The next person who tells a newbie to search on anything other than door ajar needs to search themselves!!!!

.....ok...I feel better....but I will never ever search again!
 
I'm usually able to find what I am looking for, for the most part. Then again, I may have low expectations. Anyone who is on the corral, knows how crappy their search engine has been for years.
 
I searched for headlights (needed to c how to install my jamizied headlights) - and got my Guys thread as the first find, I searched for Mike Ward (looking for the thread I posted about the jerk who screwed me outta 5g's) and again, got the guys thread....our search sucks!!!!

I just want Hotties to know to quit being so pizzy to newbees when they ask a q - first try searching yourself - it will p you off!

Did you find this one? (because I was just reading it)

Single word searches of more than 3 letters work best on search. Also helps to narrow search down to specific fields. For anything else, use Google.

Yep I agree.

Most of the time I can find what Im looking for.
 
nope I didn't find it. The reason I was looking for it is this week I received an email from another guy who got ripped of about 4g from him too, he didn't search on the internet until after - I felt bad for the guy, he is a stang owner. I told him let me know if I can be any help, I'd deffinatley go to court for him and testify against the jerk.

He got the same deal I did. Story after story about why his car wasn't working right, needing more money, taking more time (lies all lies) and he also found our that MIKE WARD PERFORMANCE RACING (LOLOLOLOLOL) was driving his car around too!! MWPF is a rip off and the guy is a liar.

I really hope he takes him to court, I'd love to be a witness. He not only took me, he took my brother in law for about 15g's on buiding a race car from frame up....dude needs his hands cut off.

ok - from now on I will search for you! lol thanks 93!!!!!!!

I emailed it to the guy who got ripped off - told him since the thread is dated it can be used in court, and with me being there to back it up, he has a good chance of getting his money back. He has to act fast before th guy goes bankrupt though.

Deb, you really have to like reading and clicking and hitting the back button to search for something on here. Using one word helps a lot but still brings up 2000 threads. It's usually easier to just Google what you're looking for. All forums are like this though and there really isn't much that can be done about it. I do know what you're saying though. It's annoying but what in life isn't?
 
poor deb..do i need to come ove and teach you how to use the clicker properly ;-)
 
ohhhhhhh U MEAN USE GOOGLE INSTEAD OF LVC's SEARCH...then maybe some need to back of slamming newbes and tell them to use google instead of the LVC search!!!!

our search sucks - my LVC search is now 93!

Yup! Give it a try - type: Mike Ward Racing lincolnvscadillac.com

Also, if you don't find what you're looking for on the first try, click the thing on Google to allow omitted results. Google is good because you can type in whole strings and it will find something.

(note to those who pizz on newbees and tell them to use LVC's search - now, please tell them to use GOGGLE! - 93 is mine ;) )

I think that is part of the problem, people think the search here works like google.
 
thanks Hottie, I will first use 93 and if he is not available, I will use google, and if that doesn't work I will use the last resort - LVC's search - lol
