Hey all! I recently got the resonators taken off of my Magnaflow catback system. It sound a lot more aggressive now, especially when you crank it up. I got a piece of stainless steel pipe to weld in its place so everthing would match up and still remain a true all stainless exhaust system. You may notice the melted bubble wrap on the left side...happened 3 days after I got the system installed 6 months ago! Enjoy.:D

BTW, my pics are too large to post.:(

yeah I like that alot. Which mufflers does magnaflow use with their systems. Their system wont look right with my LSE because of the tips etc. and I'd rather just buy the mufflers and have them put on. Are they the ultra flows ? Thats with the x-pipe still right ?

sounds really good thanks for the inside sound as well dont want some to loud because of my son

...those beads would drive me crazy. Otherwise, I like the angle you shot the video at. A little tire squeal would have made the video, though.

Sounds great. I think that is what I am going to do with mine. I will try it out and see how it sounds with just the magnaflow exhaust first though. Awesome video, and great sound.

Thanks for the responses. I put it out there so others could make an informed decision on exhaust for the car. It was not available when I was shopping around. I have another video on my profile on YouTube that has a clip with the resonators on.:D

Now to answer questions:

  • Are they the ultra flows ? Thats with the x-pipe still right ?
  • I'm not sure which mufflers they are, they are the ones that come with the system. It does have an X-Pipe. I have photos of the system while it's on the rack if you are interested.

  • Sounds real good, but where is the smokey burnout? LOL
  • To tell you the truth, I have a hard time making the car do burnouts. I have not figured it out yet. I turn off the traction control, but I think I'm holding the brake too hard. Any suggestions?

  • I have the same issue, but the hum of the exhaust knocks him right out! It's not bad at cruising speeds. You can barely hear it going down the interstate.

Empty your trunk, maybe? Too much weight back there?

I am interested in seeing your photos while it is up on the rack. Please post them if you don't mind. I will check out your video with the resonators still in tact if I can find it.

Thanks for your videos. They are extremely helpful to me. I have been kicking around the idea of getting exhasut for my car, but I wasn't quite sure what it would sound like so I was afraid to do it. I did NOT want an import sounding car. I like the low rumble of the Magnaflow exhaust. I think that this will be the direction that I will go in when I get around to doing my exhaust. Thanks again.

They are too big to post. I will be happy to send them to you via email. What is your address? You can PM it to me if you would like.
