i just cleaned the throttle body on my 99 and i was just wondering if there was anything that i should replace or check just to make sure its running fine.

heres a list of what i have already done:
spark plugs replaced a month ago
oil change every 3 months
power steering fluid changed about month ago.
transmission flushed last summer
new battery put in two days ago
new air and fuel filter coming next week, cabin air filter also.


with 160k on my car, is there anything else i should take a look at? any info would be appreciated.

nah just keep up on basic maintenance and a bit of TLC and these cars will last you btw mines a 97 with 165k

Removing Air Silencer Worth It??

Cars going to the shop for some basic maintenance, was thinking of having the shop take the air silencer out because I've heard it'll give the car a meaner sound, and better gas mileage. Is this true? and is it worth it?? If anyone has sound clips of there conti without the silencer that'd be great thx

i dont think ill ever take the air silencer out but i forgot to mention earlier that i do have some flowmaster 40s that i been meaning to install
