Ok since blowing the headgasket on my mark i decided to just replace the whole driveline. i have a spare motor with 60,000 miles im going to throw that in my car and freshin it up a bit. Trans is getting a full rebuild with 3000 loc up stall and shift kit. (On its way to the trans guy this weekend). The rear is getting built with 430"s with trac loc and polyurathane bushings. Also im trying to figure out where to get a chip from? because im going to need to recal the speedo and rearange some things. Im attempting to not run a metal matrix driveshaft untill i see what its like. if things get rough ill save and get it installed.
After this is all installed im going to see what geno is going to charge to prep my car with nitros. a small 175 shot. Im tired of hitching rides and walking everywhere already and just seeing my mark there just sitting is killing me.
its just time untill everything is back and ready to install.

This summer i will be saving for a winter supercharger install.
Geno if you get this do you have polyurathane rear mounts down at the shop i would like to come pick a set up along with some of those cool metal lms decals and i want to order the 20 in one we where talking about. I call the shop or drive down. will you be there friday? around 1030ish

The biggest advice I can offer is to GET the MMX shaft from Dennys Driveshaft Services NOW and save the hassle. I have done wayy too many and I will GUARANTEE that you will be putting one in anyway.

Got a nice f'n plan there eric! i cant wait to see how it turns out. pritty soon the staties are gonna need to s/c their cvpi's to get those wrascally mark 8's runnin 10's on 38 all night long! (we will just leave chad and his 15.000000001 mark as bait :) ) jk chad.
 
you know your right Geno i should just do everything right the 1st time around. so what if it takes a week or two more then what im planning. pm me a price for pickup on that driveshaft.

What converter are you getting brand wise (YES IT MAKES A MAJOR DIFFERNCE) I wouldn't put NYTHING but an Edge in there under ANY circumstances.

We do not sell the MMX DS you can contact Denny's HERE. Its THE ONLY MMX I would use.
 
what kind of lock up kit do you recomend. also is the one above it for non lock up could i run that.
 
can i order a converter through when the time comes? also a mm denny ds?
this would save me some hassle and im sorta local to you. ill give you cash money upfront before order just let me know a total for both things.

NO, you want a lock up for sure. Just tell them what exactly you want and they will gove you a quote.

No you would have to order it and have it shipped to you and then just bring it to us.
 
about t he Denny's shaft - there is a good driveshaft place in my city, what if i just brought them an aluminum crown vic shaft and had it made the right length, and balanced - isn't that just as good?

Nope btdt MANY times. You need metal matrix composite auminum.
