A couple weeks ago I made a post here with my problem..

my door lock would not work using the clicker or the buttons inside the driver door, it only worked from actually putting the key in the whole..

well i was told it was the door lock actuator... FINE!

i bought a door lock actuator, went though the hastle of redoing EVERYTHING for the door lock since that peice alone is not for sale. I did this having lambo doors, and NOT SPACE TO WORK WITH...

i somehow completed the project but lost 1 screw,(holds the handle in place and the lock in place)...

so now, i have no means of getting in from my door, and the problem is STILL NOT FIXED... seems like the old door lock actuator was NOT THE problem.. so does anyone know what other steps i should take? any fuses i should check and re-check.. pls.. help me out here..

oh man i could have sworn it was that.i dont want you going nuts over my opinions but you might wanna check and see if the wiring to the actuator is working or it could be whatever is sending the signal to the lock to open, is not responding to the passenger side anymore.i dont wanna put ideas in your head because i am in no way, shape, or form a professional or know what im talking about. im just throwing ideas out. take em if you want. btw im really sry to hear that with all that trouble it still dosent work.

gotta imagine with lambo style doors your odds of wiring breaking down goes WAY up....just a thought.

in fact I'd think you need a ribbon cable (inkjet style?) of some sort to make that wiring truly reliable in the jamb

none of the wiring was cut to make my lambo doors work... the stock wiring had enough slack.. all i had to do was cut open the rubber housing to find enough cable slack to have lambo's.. technically.. nothing was change.. only the style of the door opening..

but doesn't the wiring get pulled around aLOT more with that type of door? It just seems too coincidental that you have lambo doors and are apparently having a wiring problem....

the wiring inside the tubing is/was wrapped with slack.. the wiring barely moves.. instead of horizontally, it only moves vertically now.. the wiring does not seem to be stressed or anything along those lines..

Did you check for power at the connector when you had it apart? If no power when you hit a button, then you need to look at wiring or relays, breakers, etc.

thats what im going to do this weekend.. but i looked through the manual for fuses and relays on that door and i couldnt find any..

im pretty sure there is no fuse for the doors locking/unlocking... cause my locks are messed up and i was looking for a fuse and didnt come across one...

i was told to test all the wires to see if they are getting power first.. do i need to click the door on and off to get power from the cable?

I need to look at the system to tell you correctly how this system works. BUt if it's like the rest of the car, it's complicated. If the actuators are screw acutators...and I think they are...when you hit the button, it should complete one side of the circuit. Now, I have seen systems where this power stays applied until the actuator reaches the end of the travel which then uses an internal switch to break the circuit. I have seen other systems where it actually detects an increase in amperage when the actuator reaches the end of it's travel and terminates the circuit. (this is becoming more common in power windows) I guess I'm taking the long way around telling you it would be worth your time to get the factory manual and wiring diagrams out and research how they operate, where the circuit breakers and relays are, etc. If I get a chance this weekend, I'll look for you.

Did you try the DDM, it went out in mine?
