A couple of questions,
When you guys are driving in the city do you drive in D5, or D4, are read somewhere in the booklet if you're in the city you shoud drive in D4 to save transmission from going to overdrive.

When your driving away in D5 can you switch to manual shift while the car is moving, or showed you go to manual mode only on a stop????

I've been tempted to try it, but I decided not to risk it.

Thanks,

I use D5 for everyday driving in the city, country, etc. This is what the manual advises for best fuel economy. The owner's manual says you can use D4 when driving conditions cause excessive shifting, such as city traffic, hilly terrain, etc. I think perhaps for stop-and-go traffic D4 may be better, but unless there are special conditions like that, I'd use D5.

Yes, you can be moving and switch to SST mode. It's particularly fun when you want to pass and do a manual downshift!
:D

I'm with Todd. I use D5 all the time, shift over to SST while moving to drop down and punch it.
