Well i just wanted to say i have a mark 8 93 112000miles and it has just stock stuff 3cat hollowed out no res or mufflers air silence removed and i raced a 2002 gti with 3"inch turbo back exhaust with cold air intake from a 75 roll 
after about 95 i started pulling it was just great........ I love this car hehe
