Hey,
I have a 97 mark viii with a broken door handle. After some research, I found that the handle from a 1994-2001 Lincoln Continental uses the SAME door handle. They plentiful in the junk/wrecking yards for $10.00 more or less, of course you have to remove them yourself. They even have some with chrome handles for the same price. Pretty much all junk yards have them so, why pay outrageous amount. Mike
