Mark VIII HELP!!!!

Can someone please help me I have a problem with my cars HVAC it always stays on defrost,you push panel,and the setting stays on defrost it worked great till one day it just stoped.Thanks

probably - you can find new ones on ebay pretty cheap.

Cheap LOL.. Those things are like gold! They go anywere form $75 to $100 for a used one.

If you want a cheap one with broken buttons I have one I'll see you cheap. It's from a 93 Mark VIII and it will fit.

Units from Conti's and Town Cars also fit and are sometimes much cheaper.

You can get them for around $50 at www.car-parts.com

Hmmm, defrost is the default position of the EATC control if you have a vacuum leak.

Check for vacuum before you buy an new EATC.

If Your Eatc Dispalys The Right Function And Seems To Be Working, But You Only Get Air Through Defrost Vents The Its A Vacum Leak.

Before you replace it, check the vacuum as was suggested above. I had exactly the same problem, and I had a vacuum leak in the tube that goes over the intake manifold in the engine bay - definitely check that.

I have to same problem right now! i broke mine cleaning the engine... how hard was it to replace? and where does the line end? I broke it just baove the manifold
