If you want a completely bolt-on solution that will allow you you use any MN-12 Thunderbird rear springs, this is it. A full set of both upper and lower UHMW spring perches as pictured. The included hardware to retain the upper perches is stainless steel.

UHMW is an extremely durable and light weight material, and each perch weighs less than 1 lb.

They are designed to use Prothane 6-1709 spring isolators, and you'll need two sets.

Comments from a satisfied user HERE and HERE.

Currently available only in white, shipped two days after payment is received.

I know that these are expensive, but they represent $40+ in materials and almost two days labor.

An elegant solution, for those that want the best.

$300 shipped (lower 48)

You can dye that stuff using boiling water and RIT dye, just an FYI for anyone who is interested but doesn't like white...

I did all the suspension on an old RC10 Gold Pan that way...

so say i have the coil conversion done now on my mark viii, using Tbird springs with the rubber isolaters...will those pieces you have avail. work for my rubber mounts? roughly how much height does this get you? my car is still about an inch lower in the rear then the front...will this take care of this?

The full set of upper and lower perches as shown, will add 1/2" (each has a 1/4" base), but I'd recommend that you change to the Prothane 6-1709 poly isolators, that I designed these to use, and that will make up the rest of what you're looking to add.

Or, If you want to continue to use the stock rubber isolators, I can make the perch bases to your specifications.

What are you using for perches now? Has the upper flate plate on the body been modified?

nice, maybe interested i have the one that came with the kit from american air..... i dont like the back being lowering looking then the front

SCT has polyurothane seats for the springs. They're under the Thunderbird section

SCP (fixed that for you) has polyurothane seats for the springs. They're under the Thunderbird section

Those are the Prothane 6-1709 isolators that I referenced earlier and that can be purchased elsewhere for ~$20/pr. or ~$40/set (2 pair), quite a bit less.

man the old gold pan, had a couple then i went the carbon fiber route, still got her too along with a load of old rc stuff

ahh, the good old days, when my rc10 was the only "car" i cared about.
The gold pans in original stock form have a small collectors value now.

ok , back on subject.

Nice spring perches by the way.

Actually, it's gone up, as the material is becoming harder to find at a decent price.

$310 shipped for both lowers and uppers.

$160 shipped for either lowers or uppers.

Here's what a set of lowers and uppers (along with the retaining hardware) looks like.

The current price for a complete set of 4 perches (2 lower, 2 upper), along with the retaining hardware, is $320 shipped (lower 48).

I make these perches to order. That means that after I receive payment, I'll order the materials and then it takes 2-3 days to make the four perches. It could be as long as 7-10 days after I receive payment until they're shipped depending upon the day of the week that payment is received.
