I noticed the guy in the Shelby didn't have a helmet, whenever I have drag raced the track requires a approved racing helmet. It has been years since I raced has this changed?

Yeah, I noticed that too. Definitely very odd. I'm 6'5" tall and when I wear a helmet at the track in that car, the seat gets reclined hardcore. It's actually quite funny. My arms are fully extended on the steering wheel when I'm going down the track if that gives you an idea. lol

Had to wear a helmet a few years back. Now only if your faster than 11.5 . I like the track better now for other reasons also.
