Mark viii welding question

Hi everybody,I've got my 98 up on stands to do some maintianance and was thinking about fabing up some k-member braces for it.My question is do I need to take any certain precautions,other than disconecting the battary, before welding my brackets to the sub frame as to not fry any electrical componants?Thanks

Simply keep the ground clamp attached to the piece you are welding in close proximity and you will be fine just disconnecting the battery.

I've done TONS of welding on a Mark and all I ever did was disconect the battery.
