Yup, turned out great!

As this appears to be a 93' Blue whoring thread i'll add to it in a few days (once my final waxing is done) with day time pics.

Thanks again Jamie! :)

those octastars in the back of my shop would have looked perfect on it, martin eyeball'd them all day!!

Octastars would also be smoking... or chrome ten spokes.

After looking at the pics again I just can't believe how much better it looks after being buffed, I would have never though those bumpers would clean up.

The front bumper cover will end up being plate deleted and resprayed - has a few nasty scrapes on the lower side.

Yup, octastars would have been nice - no more money to spend though at the moment! :(

Thanks Conti!

Well, i either want chromed flakes or octastars. (eventually) Going by KK's thread, there appears to be a problem with the center cap design on the ten spokes.

no you cant own the wheels and use them in salt! i have owned 3 cars with chrome 10 spokes and never had any center hub bubbling in any of the wheels. salt kills aluminum, take aluminum, cover it in chrome plate and then put salt in between the two and you get what you have, the best thing to do is take your wheels off before they are too trashed and put antiseize around the hub hole and back of therim where it meets the rotor to keep water and salt and crap out of there. chrome is chrome and its been around a long time, so has rust, you have to know how to keep the two away from each other!

yeah but what i was saying is because of where your car is from, and the lack of care before you owned it , thats why the rims look the way they do, plus martin wont be driving his car much, wont get much snow, or salt, he wont have to worry about the center of the wheels looking like that unless he buys a jetski and backs old blue into the ocean to launch the ski!!!!

I know I know...

I would just say that you can't be too nice to your chrome ten spokes though... they seem to be more finicky than other wheels.

Yup, it's been pretty cold all day! I'll wait until the weather improves before i do some hand buffing. Might as well get started on wet sanding and buffing that headlight lens you gave me.

Lol. My little ride in your Navigator has re-sparked wife's interest...

lol i told you it rode nice, you'd never guess the miles, now that i moved the rear height sensor and leveled it and today i put the 4th matching wheel back on after putting the good tire back on she's looking pretty and riding better. i like driving it, i'll probably be driving it more than pete will. i know he wants another vette bad, so when the day comes to unload the navi i think i'll buy it.

Once you are finished buffing it, take a bunch of interior / exterior pics and put them up in the Navigator section! I saw a similar shape Expedition today - yup, your rear was way low. At least that's fixed now.

I'm gonna wait a week chicken - let the urethane touched up spots cure some more first. The wheels really look like poop now. Have to rectify that next year for sure!

Looks GREAT!..Wrong color and year..But it looks good anyway LOL LOL!!
And Martin..I think it's time to get a compressor for your air bags. If you keep blowing into that valve stem, You may pass out!!!
