Hey guys The conti Im trying to sell is giving me wierd issues.Wondering if any of you have an idea.I tried the conti section but its pretty dead.Anyways the 95 conti I have since I got it the trans I think has been acting funny. When you first take off in 1st it kinda bucks or trys lurching forward.Feels like a miss but teh engine runs perfect. That was my intial problem. My main concern is now when I start the car when its cold Put it in drive and it dies.Everytime until its warm or until I either hit the gas as Im shifting it into drive then it takes off.The only codes Iam getting are 2.Running lean bank one and 2.Put it in reverse it dies. After the temp is at a certain level the car goes into gear and stays idling.Im not sure what to do.Its a 95 ,With 107K in real nice shape.I have it for sale whole but if this is a trans problem I might have to part it out.Its 2 nice for that:Bang .

Another thing if I do get it into drive without stalling I have to hold my foot on the brake hard because the car wants to take off on its own.Im wondering if its a bad TPS and not throwing that code.Any help would do.Thanks guys

IAT? is that in the trans? When the car dies out in gear I hear like a whistling kickback.Sometimes when I start it I do hear a whistle sound.hmmmzz.Im gonna have to check through it good on sunday.

IAT. Air intake Temperature sensor. Although symptoms sound more and more like a vacuum leak. I'd look for that 1st. Spray some carb cleaner around all the vacuum hoses in and around the intake. Listen for a perceptable pickup in rpm. That is where your leak would be.

Ok got some more info.I started the car for the first time today. No problems.I put it in drive like normal and it died.So this time I tried reverse, gas it alittle gas and it stayed running.I put the parking brake on.and chocked the tires.Popped the hood and all I hear is air,Sounds like its coming from under the air filter somewhere.Put it in drive and I hear even more air and when the air gets quiet the car lurches forward. So I think you are right about it being a vacuum. Now my question is when I get to check it out more in the day is what is under the air box making the hissing noise?Anything specific I should look for? Thanks!
