Does anyone know how to get ahold of the guy that used to make the McLaren grill? I'm in the injection molding business and would like to inquire about the mold.

LSKoncepts was originally selling them.

if I can't get ahold of him quick enough I'll have one of the engineers at work blueprint a mold from a mint grill and then have the mold quoted. Was hoping to save a couple thousand by buying his mold and any associated copyrights so that I might possibly resume low count production.

Someone has new mint one on eBay for sale.

Any update on this? I tried to get to LSKoncepts' website and it doesn't come up. When I google them, all I find is sites to register a scam. Are they out of business?

Yes, they're gone. Unfortunately, they kept taking orders and taking the money for those orders, long after they stopped shipping products.

The black part comes out of the frame, right? So, couldn't an insert be molded based upon an existing insert (size, shape, etc) then rather than have vertical bars, the insert is perforated like the Mclaren or any other type of design? I am sure someone could figure that out, no? I am a new LS owner and trying to climb a steep learning curve.

Yes it is an insert. There is a company that I still think makes a version Trex billet aluminum one. Maybe they can help.
