ok, when I got my LS the salesman showed me how to do this, but this was after signing papers for a long time and I never wrote it down.

There is a way to program your key to a memory position for the seats and mirrors. In the book I can only find how to program the keyless entry remote (which I don't use because of my alarm).

To do that you set the seats, hit set, then press any button on the remote, then either 1 or 2. Now, when the guy helped me program the key for the first time I didnt have everything exactly where i wanted it, but it was similar to the steps above but also involved putting the key in and turning it on, then off, but i cant remember the exact order.

Does anybody know what I'm talking about or know how to do this?

On my 2004, the key is not programmed, just the remote. Each remote should return the seats and wheel/pedals to the position associated with that remote. My wife's remote move everything to her position when she unlocks the car and mine does the same when I unlock the car. I don't remember this action being associated with the ignition keys.

I'll have to check how to program the key to memory setting, I know in the 02 the seat and other stuff is remembered with the key code. But I have never used my spare key so I will also need to know.
