After going to dinner at the Lucky Lady and losing some money to the State of Iowa at the Casino we went to watch the dropping of the Carp and Welcome the New Year in Style.

Here are a few pictures of the festivities with Lucky the Carp.

The Carp is was frozen and kept until spring where Lucky is laid to rest in the park and a tree is planted as Lucky becomes the nutrients and helps give life to the tree.

There was a nice bonfire to keep the spirits flowing ... LOL
