My Change oil soon message came on this week and i went and got the oil changed and tried to reset it and noticed that my vehicle setting,Date/time,system check and compass buttons dont work. my question is what could be causing this last month they worked now when i press them they do nothing.

I had the same problem. The contacts are probably just gunked or messed up. Find someone parting-out a working unit either from eBay or the For Sale forums.

A small flathead scredriver to pry it out; then a flathead to disconnect the harnesses. 45-second job. I bought mine for $28 shipped.

Can those contacts be cleaned... mine are sometimes a bit stubborn to work when you press them.
