Well you see I would but when my car was broken into they took every thing including the owners, so if any one has an extra one I could use it, but tell me what it says if you could please. Before it started to do that it kept telling me I was going NE no mater what direction I was going in.

Have any subs in the trunk?

From the manual...

Calibration Adjustment

The compass was calibrated at the factory and under normal driving conditions will not need to be re-calibrated. The compass is designed to re-calibrate itself if changes in vehicle magnetics occur. In order to re-calibrate itself, the compass requires the vehicle to be driven in full 360 degree circles. Occasionally, the vehicle magnetics will change enough to prevent the compass from correcting itself. If the True North (Variation) Adjustment outlined above does not correct an inaccurate compass, the compass should be calibrated. If a compass is newly installed in a vehicle, the calibration procedure must be performed.

To calibrate the compass, perform the following procedure:

1. Find an open area free from steel structures and high voltage lines.

2. Press and hold the COMPASS button, then press the RESET button. The message center indicator will display the following:

E/M > ZONE

RSET > CAL

CLOCK > N

3. Press the RESET button to enter the Calibration mode, as indicated by the middle line of the display (RSET > CAL). The display will now show:

CIRCLE

SLOWLY

TO CAL

4. Slowly drive the vehicle (less than 3 mph/5 km/h) in a circle until the message center indicator displays a direction instead of the CIRCLE SLOWLY TO CAL message. If after three complete circles the display still shows "CIRCLE SLOWLY TO CAL," perform the vehicle demagnetizing procedure.

5. Perform the True North (Variation) Adjustment. Calibration is now complete.

Compass True North Adjustment

The vehicle has been demagnetized and the compass has been calibrated by the manufacturer. However, the True North Adjustment is not done by the manufacturer. Vehicle location in the country will determine how accurate the compass is without performing the True North Adjustment. When the vehicle is received from the manufacturer or whenever a vehicle operator claims that the compass is inaccurate, perform the True North Adjustment. The compass True North Adjustment is set as follows:

1. Press and hold the COMPASS button, then press the RESET button. The message center indicator will display the following:

E/M > ZONE

RSET > CAL

CLOCK > N

2. Press the ENGLISH/METRIC button to enter the Set Zone mode, as indicated by the top line of the display (E/M > ZONE). The display will now show:

RESET TO

SET ZONE 8

3. Determine which zone of the continent you are in by using the accompanying zone map.

4. Press the RESET button until the appropriate zone number appears on the display. (The zone number will increment once each time the RESET button is pressed. Once the number reaches 15, it will change back to 1).

5. Press the ENGLISH/METRIC button to complete the zone setting. (The Set Zone Mode can be aborted by pressing any button other than RESET and ENGLISH/METRIC). The message center indicator will now display:

SETTING

COMPASS

for a few seconds, and then it will return to the normal compass heading mode. The zone setting procedure (True North Adjustment) is now complete.

Alternate Procedure for True North (Variation) Adjustment

If desired, an alternate procedure can be used for setting the True North (Variation) Adjustment:

1. Align the vehicle facing north along the curb and safely out of traffic flow on a road that is known to run in a true north-south direction. Use a published map to find a true north-south road if necessary. Make sure the car is level and there are no large steel structures or high voltage lines nearby.

2. Press and hold the COMPASS button, then press the RESET button. The message center indicator will display the following:

E/M > ZONE

RSET > CAL

CLOCK > N

3. Press the CLOCK button to set True North, as indicated by the bottom line of the display (COMPAS > N). The message center indicator will show:

SETTING

COMPASS

for a few seconds, and then it will return to the normal compass heading mode. The True North Adjustment is now complete.

Vehicle Demagnetizing

If the compass is inaccurate after calibration, vehicle magnetism may be too high and vehicle demagnetizing is necessary. Initially the vehicle is demagnetized at the manufacturer's plant to a sufficient magnetic level. In most cases this is sufficient for the life of the vehicle. However, if after calibration the compass still is inaccurate then demagnetizing must be performed.

The demagnetizing process requires the use of a demagnetizing coil commonly used by TV service technicians to demagnetize television tubes. Demagnetize the vehicle by sweeping across the luggage compartment area over the compass with a demagnetizing coil as follows:

NOTE:
The demagnetizing procedure must be followed exactly. Failure to do so may result in the vehicle being remagnetized.

1. Standing 1m or more (3 ft or more) away from the vehicle, turn on the demagnetizing coil.

NOTE:
Whenever the demagnetizing equipment is being operated over the vehicle's surface, or within 1m (3 ft) of the vehicle, the operator must maintain a constant steady motion. Failure to do so may result in the vehicle being remagnetized.

2. In one continuous motion make four passes over the luggage compartment of the vehicle. The demagnetizer should be held 2-1/2 cm (1 inch) or less (but not touching) away.

3. After the fourth pass, and without stopping the motion of the demagnetizing coil, pull away from the vehicle.

NOTE:
It may be necessary to also demagnetize the rear tires.

4. When the demagnetizer coil is at least 1m (3 ft) away from the vehicle, turn the demagnetizing coil off.

5. Perform the Compass Calibration procedure as outlined under Adjustments.

WHO TAKES AN OWNERS MAN..... HONESTLY! if your the type of person that steals from people, i doubt you own a linc.

I know it sucks; they also took my book from the dealer for the wiring diagrams that one really pissed me off. There are reasons why I play GTA, its not cuz I’m a gamer, its a good stress reliever when you blow someone's head off. And just cuz I fell like ranting right now I got pulled over last night while I was cruzing the beach side heading to the pool hall when an as*s hole cop pulls me over for no damn reason, his excuse was I have a burnt out plate bulb that’s about the 7th time I got pulled over for some thing so stupid like that I HATE DAYTONA COPS!!! :soapbox: sorry

Hey thank for the manual on ebay I won it, and thanks for the help driller i will see if that works!

Mark VIII? YOu can download the manual at my site... I have it listed in the downloads section... in PDF format *U need Adobe" Click below.

gotta join a fire dept. you put in some time there, make good contacts, and if you wear your workjacket with the patch on the sleve, you can get out of almost anything a cop will pull you over for...just my oppinion :)
