Milan dragway?

I wish I could make it, I haven't run my car at the track for quite a while.

My dad is in town and we're having a party for him Wednesday.

Funny thing is... Im trailering my 14.8 second car there. I dont want to end up putting too much gas in it like last time.... Im puttin an 8th tank in of 93.... Last time I had about 10 gallons of gas.. Still had traction problems. :shifty: Should I spray somethin on my tires before lining up? Oh and FYI: 1 gallon of gas weighs 8lbs.
 
Today is the day.... That my car will hook up!!!! Im gettin everything set right now, i will update later tonight. 2.1 60's here i come!
 
I ran 15.0's all night long. I think the maf+filter that i put in was just suckin in a bunch of HOT air as I dont have an icebox. It was about 85 degrees out and humid. My 60's sucked just as bad... I think my best was a 2.2. I also trapped 2mph slower than my runs 2 months ago in 65-70degree weather with the stock air box.

im slightly skepticle about the maf currently. iv been bogging like crazy since about a week after i put it in. im gonna take it out tonight and run again, and see whats up. What happened with the 2.2s? were you runnin with the mts?
 
I was running the m/t's this car just doesnt want to get off the line as quick as Id like it to. If I would have had my stock air box, my times woud've been better. Time for the 4.10!!!
 
I compared my slips and it appears as if my car starts slowing down near the 1/8th. Last time I went my 60's were consistent 2.4's. Now they were 2.2's. But my 1/8th et went from 9.1 to 9.7. and the mph went from 75 to 71. Although its kind of weird that my 1000' Et's were within a couple thousandths of the last time I ran.
 
Are you sure your car did a 9.1 1/8th mile ET previously? Do you know what that equates to in the 1/4 mile...? 14.1-14.2 all day long.

my bad. I must have been looking at the wrong car. It was around 9.7 before.lol
