More power

I have a 06 LS, when I first got it the power off the line was awesome, tires would grip the road and it would go, squeal the tires and all...now there really isn't much, I want the feeling back, what could be the issues? What can I do to get that power and torque back

MAF cleaning
Check for any air leaks
Intake valve cleaning

Check air filter and fuel filter. If it's starving for either you will lose hp without setting codes.
