so basically i took my lincoln to the dealership and got my alternator straightned out. but they told my my front..(im guessing the front right) motor mount was bad and that when i drive whenthe car shifts the motor is hitting underneith the top of the hood.. so i searched around and found a few mounts on ebay and what not.. however. it doesnt sound like a easy job to do my self. lincoln dealership wants $600 to do it.. id rather do it my self. i have a cherry picker if i need it. however, my mechanical nack is more for foreign vehicles like hondas then Lincolns... i pop the hood. see this big ol engine and i thnk i know where the mount is... however.. im just lookin for tips on the best or the easiest way to replace this with out yankin the engine out... im sure theres a way. i have a idea but id rather hope i come across someone that can either point me to a site or sned me some basic instunctions on how to do this!
