Hey everybody!

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Had my LS V8 for a few years now... still in love with it. But... I'm a hot rodder at heart and need a little more sound out of the V8. I'm thinking of doing the CAI from LSKoncepts for a little more intake excitement, but I would like to hear more of the V8's rumble. What should I do for mufflers? I know that there are no aftermarket systems available... not an issue. Just looking for more sound... I'm working on an S10 with a blown 383 sbc for the go fast stuff!

I'm hoping to drop off the car in the next few days to have some mufflers put on it. My local shop is a Magnaflow dealer. Anyone have any part numbers for what will fit?

Thanks!

I had Magnaflows welded in place of the OEM mufflers. Ther si no cat back kit for the 2003 and newer other than a single prototype that Magnaflow created. Only found a few HP since the 2003 and newer exhaust is already very good. I love the flows. I also added Magnaflow 4" tips. I have the CAI as well. The combo is very quiet at idle but if you hammer it :D

Kellyo, what is the part number of the mufflers you used and the muffler piping diameter?

Sorry this took so long. I was on the road and did not have access to my records.

The tips are Magnaflow part number 35121. I got them from Summit Racin online for 34.50 each

I do not know the muffler part numbers. I went to my local Meineke and they picked out the ones that fit correctly. I paid 94 each plus labor for welding and also installing the tips. Total paid for mufflers and install was $301.
