I have a question i cut off my resonator and put a turbo thrust muffler there because thats only size that would fit. I also cut both mufflers off and put 2.5 inch tips. Its not as loud as i wanted it but do u think it would louder if i put a dynomax bullet in there instead??

It would be a bit louder. The part that quiets the exhaust down the most is the cats...

You have two pipes coming from the engine right, where you dropped the middle cat put in a dual in dual out muffler, not only does it sound great - feels awesome too!!!! (I think Rich mentioned this in your prev. thread). Not sure what the muff you put in is so don't know if it wold be better than a 2n2out . also - you said you took off the two muff's, did you replace it with the same size pipe from there out? You could have cut further back and got wider, that would have helped since I am guessing you put pipe where the muffs were (and minimual $ since you had to replace the pipe anyway....., uhhhh, did you...or did you put the tips at the end of the cut (not being smart, but you knever know! ...got pics?). Dunno if any one mentioned hooking up a cold open air box. and yes lobbin off the "lung" is a pain, it will ever so slightly create more sound (props to Roadboss for mine- thanks Hottie!).

Would it screw crap up if you drilled a hole in your cats? Go ahead and laugh, but a dude told me if you do it about 1/2 inch from the rim that it wouldn't mess up the cat, just make it lounder. All I know is since dude dropped my ex-sys to put in the gears my cats have ratteled like a rattle snake.

just thrown it out there

Yes, the bullets will make the exhaust considerably louder.
So will larger pipes and a true dual exhaust.
As will removing the third cat/resonator from under the car.

I'm among the people who installed 2.5" pipe from the first set of cats back, replaced the 3rd cat with a 2" in/out Dynomax Ultra-Flo X (internal x-pipe) and then true dual 2.5" pipes out the back without any additional mufflers.

I also have the same setup except i have the 2.5" dual in dual out dynamax ultraflo x..

heres a clip of the sound. its smooth and loud when you get on it. i would recommend any of the Dynamax Ultra Flo series. i got mine from summit racing.
