Hello, I am an owner of a 1998 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series, it has almost 60K on it and all of those miles are highway. My grandfather owned it since new and gave me the car. He bought a new TC and soon that one will be mine too.

My previous TC was a light blue 1990 TC Exec. with a dark blue leather interior.

Here are some pics of my 1998

Nice TC. I like the gauges on your TC better then mine. It has a cleaner look. Did you change it with the touring Town car?

Thats a nice lookin TC man. Remember the exec seats in 98's are unique. They were upholstered differently than the 99-2002 TC's. So newer execs have different seat upholstery patterns.

Lookin' good. Be sure to take care of that plastic intake manifold ASAP. Ford should pay for it, as you have less than 80,000 miles on it.

The gauges are original, and there is no recall on the intake for my model, I checked with Ford. I have been driving the car a lot, and she is pretty powerful car. I get about 20mpg mixed driving. Also do I have to use premuim?

I think for the 98, you do have to use the premium. TC are really great in MPG, on highway I get 26.8. That is higher then what my conti gives.

Yeah she is good in mixed driving, I also noticed that the ride is not as smooth as the 1990 TC I had. I would like to keep my XM radio connected, but I do not want to have to use the outlet in the cupholder. Its a pain to drive with the cupholders open. Also on the radio their is a mute button with a picture of a phone on it. I know that a cellular phone option was avialable for my car. I wonder if i can get a system that could connect my cellphone with that function?
