I'm have suspenison problems my car never sat the same level my front end sats low and my rear end sat really high like I'm sitting on a rocket, HELP!!!!!

my suspenison light comes on after the first fifteen mintues of driving.

Are there any cheap solutions out there that anybody knows about??????

I know, for the later models you can buy a passive strut spring replacement. I don't see why it shouldn't apply to your Mark. I will check it out and post back

:W

That could be a couple of things. Do a search in these forums on some key words and see what you find.

What's going on is that your rear solonoids aren't shutting off...so when it goes to fill the fronts, the air keeps bleeding back to the rears since it weighs less.. the ride height sensors don't usually go bad. Check your rear solonoids, they might be corroded, stuck in open postion.
It could eventually be a bad airspring computer. Pretty cheap and plentiful to find at the local junkyard and on ebay.
I don't like or trust that air suspension system. I've seen several Mark VII's and Continentals burn to the ground because of it. So check your wiring.

Or...you could change to regular coil springs for about $200-300.

Let us know what you find.

Cheers!

Do the air suspension self-diagnostic. This will help narrow down the problem and make it easier to help you.

dude, mine has the same problem starting yesterday, its a mark 7 LSC 88, im really mad, the back bounces like crazy and the light goes on way more often. im going to replace the front struts cuz i found a mark 7 and i have no idea what to do, where are the solinoids? i would check em if i knew what and where they where?

Struts have no affect on ride height. Do the air suspension self-diagnostic like I said and trouble shoot from there.

wham bam fixed, my boss :q:q:q:qed around with my mark 7 a little today and he triggered the cilinoids in the back and let the air out of them and i turned it back on and i just adjusted to the right highth again, so that solved my problem.

ok, so 2 days later..... its going back up again, i dunno im gonna ask my boss to get it down and show me what he did cuz i have a feeling ill haveto be doing this pretty often till i get whatever is fixed, as far as i know, its the height sensor computer, im gonna go search for a new one, i think its the thing behind the roof of the trunk in the back kinda, i dunno, but i gotta find one, otherwise cilinoids are fine they jsut dont let air out by them selves. dunno,
today i took the front off another lincoln took the airbags the trunk lid, everything i needed for a full repair and im stoked!
