3g Fabrications started about 3 years ago with 3 brothers with the last name Gibbs. They set out to have CUSTOM BUILT bicycles, not the regular ol' bicycles that come off of the assembly line.
This is my youngest brothers handy-work. Luke Gibbs.
Who,according to me,has the sickest looking bikes to roll on God's green earth!
Our father did help....with ONE thing, the paint work.
Most of what you see was done by my 15 year old brother Luke, when I'm down from college on weekends (4 hours ride) I help however I can. My other brother Seth,16,helps also.

So here they are.

69 views and no comments? Come on guys,I did this for my little bro,who is 15.

He had a spine tumor and when they went in to remove it he had an allergic reaction to the Anna-stee-z-uh SP!? he was legally listed as mentally crazy and hated any and everyone except for me and mom for the next 10 days. He threw things, pulled iv's out,hit the nurses, hated our dad and thought he was trying to poison him,so every time he saw him he would yell and fuss, throw things at him,and several times he would throw punches and hit my dad. It was scary, and heart breaking.
Once he recovered its like a light switch went off. Everything was back to normal in just a mere second.

There is one bike that I posted pics of that doesn't have the fat tire. That is the charity bike that his school is sponsoring him to build for a charity auction for St. Jude's children hospital.
Chip Foose found out about it and gave my dad his personal phone number and asked for us to call him and he wants to fly out to pull the ticket while its being filmed on tv.

Granted, the welds arent the best roll of nickles, but they sure are strong and will do their job. So any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Isaiah

Looks like he's got a good head start to building motorcycles. Pretty good work.

I thinks it's bada$$. This could really turn into something BIG!! He has great vision at an early age. I like his work.

The charity bike is finished! (the one with the handbrake and ape hanger handle bars)

I will try to get some pictures as soon as possible. The bike is now at the school he goes to,which sponsored his build. It is on display and raffle tickets are being sold for $2 a piece.

When he gets a chance to take some pictures and send them to me,I'll be sure to post them up.

The bike is painted the school colors, mainly green with white and a little red.

:-D

Also.....thanks to everyone that gave the compliments! He said thank you as well and thanks for the encouragement to go on with this.

that's awesome. Your brother is headed in the right direction with those bikes. Tell him to keep up the great work.

I think the welding gives it a character all its own. Pretty cool for a 15 year old for sure. Wish I had access to a welder when I was 15.

Sure man! ANYONE can get in! How many you want? :p

If you,or anyone else want some just let me know how many or if just one.
We will send you the tickets back and I will post the winning ticket online May 21st.
If you or anyone else on here has the winning ticket the shipping will need to be paid by winner.

Although I'm not the one building the bike,it means allot to me to see people enjoying his work. So from me,thank you.

He has a few people lined up to work on,but he does build bikes to suit. So once the summer gets here he will be able to crank out some more rides. I'll try to keep this thread alive and post pictures when I can.

ALL of the proceeds goes towards the St. Jude's childrens hospital. Luke will not receive anything from the raffle. His school, Ponchatoula Jr. High has sponsored this build. The principal took Luke out of school to go pick out a bike from Wal-Mart to chop, cut and rebuild. :D I wish I had that kind of principal.

Thanks again everyone.

Man, I wish I had people who could have taught me to weld and build awesome stuff like that when I was 15. All I knew how to do was play with my computers and myself.

Nice job, 3g's bro!

+1.

Always had an interest in building my own bicycle frame, just don't yet have the skills or tools.

I have some pix of the bike's progress. It has been brought to the school for viewing and such. Also a pic of my youngest brother that built these things. Its crazy,he grows more facial hair at 15 in a week than i do at 21!
I'm not sure why the pics do this, but here ya go!

The seat was hand crafted out of aluminum with an English wheel. Luke did it all except paint it. the paint is the school color.
They were going to do it a candy green but the student counsel voted to do it the true school green.
Luke wasnt too happy about it,so he had pops do a fade. :D always a way around something.

Bikes

I'm a bike freak too- at age 52. I've got six bikes of my own, from a Giant Iguana mtn bike that'll climb trees to a chrome framed, 144 spoked, wide whitewall, chrome twisted mirrors on 27" ape hangered bars, chromed springered low rider.
I've got beach cruisers, 60's and 70's Schwinns and bought my girlfriend a replica 1957 Schwinn Phantom.
You can see my lowrider in its early stages on my facebook page at Kevin O'Connell.
Tell your brother to keep up the inspired work. Maybe try a new, fresh look at recumbent bikes too!
