My Car Goes In For Paint On Thursday!

And For Some Reason Im Nervous. But Excited As Well. They Are Going To Take The Chrome Strips Off And Make That Smooth Being As I Dont Like The Chrome Strips. So I Cant Wait To See What It Will Look Like.

Are you referring to the chrome strips on the bumper? Once they take the chrome strips off that will leave an indention in the bumper. They will have to do a lot of body work to make it look like the sport bumper. You might be better off just buying a front and rear sport bumper from www.bumpers.com.

I'd be very interested to see how they do. I would go ahead an have them go ahead and fill in the side marker hole too.

for some reason i didnt even think about taking the side markers out but i think i will have them do that.

i mean im not getting charged labor to get this painted im taking it to the college here. where a co worker of mines husband is the instructor and has been painting cars for over 20 years or so. and did a wonderful job on her mercedes. anyhow all i pay for is the supplies. so im paying 452.00 for my whole car to be painted

Good for you! You are probably win the 'most work to bring a LS back from the edge of death' award. Many LS owners have had their cars in accidents and repaired - few have done all the work themselves like you....

well like quick said.. mine was in an accident. and i have rebuilt that bitch myself and almost gave up about 30498534985 34905830 4times.

but yea once i get the paint and the rims i think things will go alot better as far as my attraction to the car... damn that sounded cheezy huh
