So yeah I am driving in the left lane of a 2 lane road when a big work truck drives off a side road doing about 25 and drives across an entire lane and then smashes into my back end So yeah nobody was hurt or nothing and the company he works for is paying for it to be completely fixed so whatever I had a dent on that quarter panel anywayz ;) Just glad I didn't put my rims on yet!

OUCH! Your car got crunched. Sorry to hear that, but I am glad to hear nobody was injured. Hope nobody tries to give you the run around and that you are able to get it fixed soon.

The truck was from a business called "Greg's custom cycles" And the owner was cool as hell his landlord is a body shop so they are doing all the work and he is paying them whatever.... It is in the shop right now hoping to have it back in a week

yeah maybe you can get them to replace your headlights for having you go through all this trouble. seriously lol. and maybe a new motor so you cna keep up with the LS's lol

I just hope they don't try to total it.

We didn't go through insurance the guy is just paying cash to have it fixed :-D They probably would have totaled it though and I would have been pissed!

ouch :( ...this like what happened to mine last year, only mine was in the front passenger................that sucked

OMG! that realy sucks man. sorry to hear that but glad your OK :D

Ittl buff out....

what...someone had to say it.

I'd just have them cut you a check and buy a new one. I'm no body man, but that looks really expensive to fix. Besides, you could part that yout for decent money. :D

rear 1/4 panel,

Part# F5LY 6327840 A, price 704.05 (98 mitchell book) which means its around 1400 now.

19.8 hours to R&I pluass all of your internal reinforcments which add up to over 200 plus about 5 more hours to R&I.

Mind you this is JUST sheet metal time, and does not include labor to pull the back glass which will also need to be done. If this is'nt done properly, you will ned a new glass and moulding because you will crack it all the way down the middle of it. You also need to add refinish time, and cost of materials to get it into paint.

IMHO, make him buy you a different mark, because it's prolly gonna be cheaper for him. and you will still have the one for parts.

Sorry to see that. Since the rear window is coming out, maybe you can get that trim wrinkle out.

Given that information, I definitely think buying another one is the better option. Of course, if they want to sink all that time/money into fixing it... it's their nickel.

$1040.50 my price.

im suprised the number is still good.

It will be fixed back to my standards or they WILL be buying me a new mark I am gonna make sure that it is perfect not only will I completely check it inside and out I am gonna put my system in and bang the :q:q:q:q out of it and if there is even a slight raddle back there I am gonna have them take it all back off and fix it until it is perfect...
